Obituary: Former Associate Professor Sadako Ogata Passed Away at 92

Sadako Ogata, former United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and former faculty member of International Christian University (ICU), passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the age of 92. The University wishes to express its sincere condolences.

In 1965, she joined the Division of Social Sciences at ICU's College of Liberal Arts as a part-time lecturer. She served as associate professor from 1974 to 1979.
