To All New Students (Entering AY2012) Affected by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake

Reductions/Exemptions for Tuitions and Other Fees

ICU is putting in place special measures in order to offer reductions and exemptions for
various school fees for new students entering ICU in the 2012 academic year who have
been affected by the Tohoku earthquake. Also, in order that applicants who feel a
commitment to ICU's educational philosophy and who have been affected by the
earthquake do not lose the opportunity to apply to ICU, an exemption is to be offered for
entrance exam fees.


Entrance Exam Fees
Exemption granted to applicants for entrance in AY2012 (for applicants to both the
College of Liberal Arts and Graduate School).

Entrance Fee, Tuition, Facilities Fees Exemptions/Reductions
Exemptions/reductions may be granted to new students entering in AY2012 depending on
the degree to which they have been affected by the earthquake.
(For both new students entering the College of Liberal Arts and Graduate School)


1) Entrance fee + 1 term of tuition and facilities fees
2) Entrance fee + 2 terms of tuition and facilities fees
3) Entrance fee + 3 terms of tuition and facilities fees


* Recipients of this support may use it together with other ICU financial aid.
