Update´╝ÜFebruary 27, 2015

On February 27 (Fri.), ICU concluded an agreement with ICU High School regarding a partnership between the high school and the university.

Up to this time, ICU and ICU High School have collaborated educationally. For example, university faculty have taught at the high school. However, in May 2014, ICU High School was designated a Ministry of Education Super Global High School, and in September 2014, ICU was adopted as a Ministry of Education Top Global University Project (Type B). Given these developments, it was decided to conclude an agreement with the aim of strengthening mutual educational exchange and collaboration.

ICU President Junko Hibiya expressed her hopes for the agreement: "By further encouraging the partnership between the high school and the university, we would like to aim for the increased cultivation of talented global citizens." ICU High School Headmaster Ichiro Nakamura also expressed his hopes: "It is very gratifying to be able to more than ever harness the power of the university for education at the high school. We hope that more students continue their studies at ICU."
