Exchange Agreement with University of British Colombia

On March 31 (Tue), ICU had a ceremony of students exchange agreement sign off. David Farrer, Provost and Vice President Academic, (front raw second from left) came to ICU.

University of British Colombia (UBC) is a university where around 60,000 students learn and it is a well-known university not just in Canada but also globally. ICU started its SEA program since 1991 and has been sending around 20 students every year. Since the agreement of student exchange was signed off this time, ICU will be receiving and sending students to UBC. Students are expected to be able to deepend the understanding of Japan and Canada since UBC is famous for its Asia studies.

The day of the ceremony, ICU campus had the cherry blossoms in full bloom. David Farrer Provost and Vice President Academic mentioned in his speech that he is honored to be able to sign off the agreement in such a wonderful day.

ICU prepares various programs for studying overseas. More than 450 students study abroad every year.
