Assessing Achievement

When students complete the designated components of the ELA, the level of achievement is checked using IELTS.

When students complete the designated components of the ELA, all students are requested to take the IELTS* exam. This provides the students with confirmation of their level of proficiency in English, and at the same time it acts as verification of their English proficiency that is required for participating in study abroad programs. The overall target IELTS score is 6.5, which is the required level of English proficiency for studying at universities in English-speaking countries.
