His experience of a homestay in Boston, USA, during his high-school years, inspired Keisuke Hanyuda to want to become a person who could work globally. In April 1996, he entered the Division of Social Sciences of the ICU's College of Liberal Arts. He studied international management theory and perspectives on identifying issues, graduating in March 2000.

After graduating, he worked at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (responsible for trade negotiations and economic cooperation with ASEAN), Canon (corporate planning and M&A), A.T. Kearney (strategy consulting), Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting (worked as a Partner), and then established Owls Consulting Group in 2020.

He promotes solutions to social issues by approaching three sectors: business, public, and social (NPO/NGO). He focuses on rule-making in private and public sectors, backed by extensive strategy consulting experience and a deep understanding of regulatory systems.

He is an Advisor to the Minister's Secretariat, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry; Deputy Director & Visiting Professor, Center for Rule-making Strategies, Tama University; Director, Ethical Association (General Incorporated Association); Director, Fairtrade Label Japan (Non-profit Organization); Director, Action against Child Exploitation (Non-profit Organization); Advisor, Grameen Nippon (General Incorporated Association); Advisor, Welcome Japan (General Incorporated Association); Member, Model Change Nippon (Private Ad Hoc Commissions on Administrative Reform).
