ICU Flying Disc Club Earns a Place in the Finals for All Japan University Student Ultimate Championship Series

The Kanto preliminary games of the 27th All Japan University Students Ultimate Championship Series were held from August 31 (Wed) to September 2 (Fri), in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki. ICU's flying disc club, ICU WINDS came first place in the open division (among 31 teams) for the first time in its history, and also came 6th in the women's division (among 25 teams). Both teams will participate in the finals for the 27th All Japan University Students Ultimate Championship to be held on September 24 (Sat) and 25 (Sun) in Fuji City, Shizuoka.

ICU WINDS is advancing to the finals in both the open and women's divisions for the second consecutive year. This year, hopes are high that they will exceed last year's results (6th in the open division and 13th in the women's division).

We have achieved a place in the finals for the second consecutive year in the best way imaginable, by winning 1st place in the Kanto preliminary games. We hope to keep up this momentum and become champion of All Japan. Thank you for your support!
