ICU honored for cooperating in emergency service operations

amami Hatakeyama, Director of University Secretariat (on left) receives a certificate of appreciation from the head of Mitaka Fire DepartmentA presentation ceremony was held on Friday, September 14, at Mitaka Fire Department to commend collaborators in emergency service and life-saving operations. ICU was presented with a certificate of appreciation by Tokyo Fire Department for actively cooperating in promoting emergency services administration and contributing to the enhancement of emergency service operations.
ICU has been making active efforts to enhance disaster preparedness and emergency response, including annual fire drills and emergency exercises at the University Hall, Science Hall, student dormitories and Sports Clubhouse. The commendation was in recognition of these efforts.
