ICU candlelight service held

On Friday, December 14, 2018, we held a candlelight service at the University Chapel filled to capacity with more than 700 participants.

This service is built on the volunteer work of students. This year again, as is the tradition, the candlelight service included performance by the student choir and orchestra, performance by the pipe organ students hosted by the ICU Sacred Music Center, devotional performance by volunteers from student bands and Bible readings by students in English, Tagalog, Bislama, Chinese, and Japanese.

Faculty members gave messages and Prof. Takashi Nishio (major: public policy, law and Japan studies) narrated the miracle associated with the birth of Jesus Christ under the title of "Christmas Wonder."
