Farewell Party for International Students
Update: June 13, 2019

A farewell party was held for students from partner institutions who are completing their exchange programs at Wisteria Hall (Common Living and Dining Area) on the first floor of the Momi and Maple Houses on June 7 (Fri.).
Ikumi Ozawa, Senior Lecturer of Japanese Language Programs, hosted the event and after a speech from ICU President Junko Hibiya, the international students and the faculty, staff and friends engaged in friendly chat and three of the students made speeches on behalf of all exchange students.
The students spoke in fluent Japanese about their experiences such as when they, who were initially not able to read or write any Japanese, really felt that they have mastered the language after studying at ICU, what they learned from the experience of living in a student dorm, the extra-curricular activities and part-time jobs, and each of them received a round of applause from the participants.
