Relief Fund Received for Ukranian Students Studying at ICU

On February 24, 2023, "With Music", a Ukraine relief charity concert, was held at the Mitaka City Arts Center (organized by the Ukraine Relief Charity "With Music" Executive Committee and supported by the Ukraine House Japan). ICU President, Shoichiro Iwakiri, and five Ukrainian students currently studying in ICU were invited to enjoy the concert.

The concert was held as a result of a strong wish to support the reconstruction of Ukraine so that the people of Ukraine can once again enjoy their daily lives, culture and sports. The relief fund, which was raised by the musicians who supported this project and gave wonderful performances on stage, as well as the audience who attended the event, was donated to the five Ukrainian students currently studying at ICU.

A list of the relief fund was presented to ICU President Shoichiro Iwakiri by Kishichiro Amae, joint representative of Ukraine House Japan and former Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine, and each of the Ukrainian students gave words of thanks and spoke about their wish for peace.
