A Virtual Campus Tour was Held for Former United Board-ICU Scholars

The first cohort of United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia-ICU scholars arrived at the ICU campus in 1953. Subsequently, over a period of 30 years until 1983, the United Board's scholarship scheme has supported 112 scholars from Hong Kong to study at ICU.

Seventy years later, On Friday, March 31, students from Hong Kong, currently studying at ICU, held a virtual campus tour for the former UB-ICU scholars.

Former UB-ICU scholars joined online from all over the world, including Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, and the US, and received a guided tour by current ICU students. They viewed the campus, which brought back their fond memories, as well as the newly completed educational facilities.

Active throughout the world, UB-ICU scholars are a role model for ICU students and are an important presence in their care and support of ICU. The virtual campus tour provided a wonderful opportunity for former UB-ICU scholars to experience the evolving ICU campus and to renew old friendships.
