Research Institutes Open House

On June 7 and 9, 2023, Research Institutes Open House was held in the Research Institutes area on the fourth floor of the Troyer Hall. The event was proposed by the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) and organized by the Center for Research Planning and Support (CRPS). Not only five institutes from the Troyer Hall, the Institute for Educational Research and Service (IERS), SSRI, the Institute for the Study of Christianity and Culture (ICC), the Institute of Asian Cultural Studies (IACS), and the Peace Research Institute (PRI), but also the Center for Gender Studies (CGS) and the Center for Global Education (CGE) joined the event to welcome students, staff and faculty members.。

Students, staff and faculty members enjoyed socializing with the research institutes staff like the Directors, Assistant Professor, and Research Institute Assistants (RIAs) during the event. The conversation with RIAs seemed especially meaningful for students who are interested in research and graduate schools.

Since the moving to the Troyer Memorial Arts and Sciences Hall, which was designed to promote the exchange of knowledge, research institutes developed good relationships. The research institutes hope that the attempt of the open house contributes to the enhancement of the exchange of knowledge on the campus.
