Support for Ukraine: Donations from Proceeds of the Chamber Opera "The Little Mermaid"

Support for Ukraine: The Little Mermaid was performed on November 18th and 19th , 2023 in the ICU Diffendorfer Memorial Hall East Wing Auditorium. The ICU Support for Ukraine: The Litle Mermaid Project invited Ukrainian soprano Nataliya Stepanyak and baritone Pedro Radeyko to perform the chamber opera in Tokyo.
ICU has accepted 5 evacuee students from Ukraine, providing them with housing and living expenses while they complete their studies at ICU. We would like to report to you that the proceeds from the production have been donated to the ICU Fund for Students Affected by Natural and Other Disasters (including evacuee students from Ukraine) in April 2024.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to all those who empathized with our objectives for the production, with a strong desire for peace and intention to connect with people for the future.
