Update: September 30, 2025

The Troyer Memorial Arts and Sciences Hall at International Christian University (ICU) has been selected for the "JIA Award for Excellence in Architecture 2024," organized by the Japan Institute of Architects (JIA).
This award recognizes outstanding architectural works with the aim of broadly communicating the value of architectural culture to society.
The Troyer Memorial Arts and Sciences Hall was designed to foster the integration of knowledge through interaction among students and faculty from diverse fields. The building centers on a galleria that connects the quadrangle enclosed by existing campus buildings and the atrium lounge "HUB Central."
It has been highly acclaimed both as a space that promotes interdisciplinary learning and exchange, and as a model case of environmentally conscious architecture.
This award served as an opportunity for the architectural value of the hall to be widely recognized in society, alongside ICU's educational philosophy.
