With the transition of the Alumni Association into the Alumni Community, membership will be expanded beyond alumni, who have traditionally been regular members. Retired faculty and staff, as well as former trustees and auditors, may become regular members upon request, while current full-time faculty and staff will be eligible for associate membership.

During the discussion, the Board Chair, President, and former Alumni Association President expressed their aspirations to contribute to the growth of the ICU community through closer collaboration between the university and the Alumni Association. They also emphasized the importance of creating more opportunities for current ICU students to connect with alumni while they are still enrolled.
