JDS Farewell Symposium Held on Campus

On June 19, 2026, the JDS Farewell Symposium was held at the Alumni Lounge in the Alumni House on the ICU campus to celebrate the graduation of six JDS fellows.

Distinguished guests from the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Tokyo, the Embassy of Ghana in Japan, and other related organizations attended the event. Mr. Kenta Oshima, General Manager of the CSV Strategy Department at Kirin Holdings Company, Limited, delivered a commemorative lecture in honor of the graduating fellows.

The JDS fellows presented the results of their research in the fields of public policy and social research. They also shared their memories of life at ICU and their experiences in Japan through photos and videos.

The symposium was attended by invited guests, members of the JDS Program Committee, and current JDS fellows, who listened attentively to the presentations and celebrated the accomplishments of the graduating fellows.
