U.N. Academic Impact lecture, "Diplomatic Policy of Jamaica - A Small Island State's Perspective," held

Jamaican Ambassador to Japan, His Excellency Mr. Clement Philip Ricardo Allicock gave a lecture in the class on "International Organization & United Nations Studies" by Distinguished Professor Motohide Yoshikawa on Thursday, May 31. The lecture took place at Kiyoshi Togasaki Memorial Dialogue House as part of the U.N. Academic Impact series.
Ambassador Allicock spoke on the topic "Diplomatic Policy of Jamaica - a Small Island State's Perspective," discussing the country's geography, history, organizations it belongs to, such as the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the Alliance of small Island States (AOSIS) and the Caribbean Forum of the ACP States (CARIFORUM), and explaining how a small country like Jamaica is aligned with other nations and conducting diplomatic activities.
In the discussion session at the end of the lecture, students asked many questions, indicating the high level of their interest in the island country. 。
