Overseas studies fair held

Update: October 6, 2017

An overseas studies fair was held on Friday, Sept. 29, in the seminar rooms on the first floor of the Momi House and Maple House for students who are thinking of studying abroad in the future. About 200 students attended.

At the fair, which was held for the first time, booths were set up according to the regions where ICU's exchange program partner universities are located as well as those on the Study English Abroad (SEA) program and the summer French Studies Abroad Program. Students who took part in various programs and foreign students currently studying at ICU answered inquiries from those who were considering overseas studies, telling them about conditions in other countries and explaining program details.

The students who came to the fair said, "I am happy to learn about the life of students and school systems in other countries." "I heard there are almost no after-school activities, but I am relieved to find from foreign students that they actually do have active club activities." "I am not worried anymore after listening to the students who have taken part in these programs." and "Hearing stories from senior students about countries I didn't have in mind, I have become interested in them."
