University Brand Image Survey 2018-2019 (Tokyo Metropolitan Area): ICU Ranks No. 1 in Being Global, Active in International Exchange

The result of the University Brand Image Survey 2018-2019 (Tokyo Metropolitan Area)* by Nikkei BP Consulting, Inc. was released on November 28.

ICU ranked No. 1 in the evaluation item of "Being global, active in international exchange."

 

* University Brand Image Survey 2018-2019
It is an internet survey of 456 major universities in Japan (120 in the Tokyo metropolitan area; medical, sports, and junior colleges are excluded) aimed at calculating brand attractiveness of universities. The survey targets business persons, parents of children going to junior high school or older and those who are working in the education industry. It measures 49 brand image items regarding universities and their students such as contribution to local industry and adequacy of research facilities as well as students' language skills and communication capability, and the university brand attractiveness (deviation score) is calculated based on these to rank the universities. The survey period was from July 30 to August 27, 2018. The number of valid responses of business persons was 6,671 (from the Tokyo metropolitan area).
