Update: March 29, 2024

ICU SDGs Promotion Office has issued a booklet "ICU's SDGs Action" in both Japanese and English, summarizing ICU's SDGs activities in the academic year 2023.
This is in the form of a campus map of the various initiatives taking place at ICU, and it allows students and visitors to tour the campus with the booklet in hand.
Three SDGs Promotion Office student members took the lead in creating this booklet, which was completed with the cooperation of Professor Tatsuo Nunoshiba, the Director of the SDGs Promotion Office, and other staff members.
The first action of the project began when we learned, through the activities of the SDGs Promotion Office, that there were SDGs-related initiatives by ICU and its students that other ICU community members did not well recognize. By gathering information on these initiatives, we hoped not only to share ICU's activities with the public, but also to familiarize ICU students with the idea of taking action within the ICU community.
Since this booklet is to be published officially by the university, we, as students, took extra caution with each expression and name, and tried to provide appropriate explanations. At the same time, taking advantage of the fact that this is produced by students, we avoided overly formal expressions and tried to make it enjoyable to read. For example, we prepared columns to encourage students to think together about issues such as better dormitory life, the student cafeteria, and abandoned bicycles, and included activities to think about the connection between themselves and the SDGs. Rather than just putting information as a fact, we have created communication between the writer and the reader through the booklet.
We plan to distribute this booklet at Open Campus and other future events. Please take a look at it!
The booklet can also be read in digital format on the SDGs Promotion Office website.
