Introduction of New Class Timetable from Academic Year 2025

ICU has reviewed its class timetable and academic calendar to address various issues, and it has been decided that a new timetable will be introduced in Academic Year 2025.

The new schedule will be centered on changing the structure of classes from 70 to 75 minutes per class. Although the length of each term will be shorter than the current academic calendar, ICU will maintain its basic structure, in which classes are held several times a week in horizontal periods. On the other hand, there will be a change to the start time of each period in addition to a change in the day of the week of super periods (combination of Monday-Thursday, and Wednesday-Friday), and the introduction of new super periods (three types: Super 4, Super 5, and Super 7 (limited use)).

These changes will allow for the dispersion of overlapping classes and also for ensuring faculty research time and opportunities for students to participate in various programs. We hope that students utilize these advantages to lead fulfilling student lives.
