Update: January 24, 2025

On January 11, the event "Let's Make Use of the Forest in Many Ways," part of the Coppice Forest Restoration Project, was held.

This event was the fourth in a five-part series aimed at fostering supporters to collaborate on the Coppice Forest Restoration Project. Approximately 40 participants, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their families, attended the event.

During the event, participants attended a lecture on the significance of raking fallen leaves in coppice forests and various ways to utilize the natural resources of the forest, such as fallen leaves. Afterward, they visited the coppice forest restoration area to construct eco-stacks, which are designated places to store raked leaves. Additionally, participants enjoyed a recreational activity of making roasted sweet potatoes using the collected leaves.
